Hello, everyone! đź‘‹
I'm Sarah Cedar, a passionate educator turned instructional design enthusiast. While I loved teaching, I found myself drawn to the design and development aspects of the field. Instructional design combines the best of both worlds—design and development along with learning! With a strong foundation in adult learning theory and a keen eye for visual communication, I specialize in creating engaging and effective learning experiences tailored to diverse audiences.
In my current role as a freelance Instructional Designer, I collaborate with a variety of clients to assess their training needs, define clear learning objectives, and develop customized instructional materials. My approach emphasizes the importance of aligning educational content with client goals to ensure that the final product not only meets expectations but also positively impacts learner outcomes. I take pride in designing and developing interactive e-learning modules, multimedia presentations, and comprehensive online courses that leverage the latest instructional design best practices.
One of my key projects involved creating a series of SCORM-compliant e-learning modules for a corporate client, which significantly enhanced their onboarding process. By utilizing my analytical skills and expertise in visual design, I transformed complex information into easily digestible content, leading to improved retention rates among new hires. I am continually exploring innovative technologies and methodologies in the field, ensuring that my work remains at the forefront of learning and development. My passion for instructional design drives me to create meaningful learning experiences that empower individuals and organizations alike.
