Rogier Pafort

Rogier Pafort currently serves as Security Officer at Reconi, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the organization’s information security framework. Leveraging his extensive expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), eHerkenning/eIDAS, and IT risk management, Rogier ensures that Reconi’s security protocols align with the highest industry standards. His responsibilities encompass overseeing IT and quality management processes, with a strong focus on ISO 27001 certification, which underscores his commitment to implementing robust information security management systems (ISMS). As a member of the management team (MT), Rogier actively influences strategic decisions related to cybersecurity and operational resilience.

A key aspect of Rogier’s role involves managing electronic access services (ETD/eHerkenning), where he has been a longstanding member of the Expertgroep normenkaders ETD since 2013. His work includes maintaining and updating normenkaders for issuing access credentials and permissions, ensuring compliance with the eIDAS regulation and facilitating secure digital identity verification. Additionally, Rogier served as the chair of the Availability Working Group (2021-2022), translating high-level advisory reports into technical RFCs to enhance system reliability and service availability.

His expertise extends to PKI (overheid), Microsoft technologies (MCP/MCSE), and cloud computing, enabling him to design and implement secure, scalable IT infrastructures.
