Reed Aiken currently serves as the Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM) at Skydive SWOOP, where he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and operational integrity of the company's fleet. Building on his extensive background as a former Operations Manager and Chief Pilot, Reed brings a comprehensive understanding of flight operations, aircraft maintenance, and regulatory compliance to his current role. His expertise in developing and maintaining the Company Operations Manual, coupled with his hands-on experience in aircraft airworthiness and maintenance & repair, allows him to oversee the seamless integration of operational standards with safety protocols.

In his capacity as PRM, Reed is responsible for coordinating maintenance schedules, conducting rigorous inspections, and liaising with regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to aviation standards and Air Operator Certificate (AOC) requirements. His deep knowledge of civil aviation regulations, combined with his skills in project planning and airport management, enables him to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining the highest safety standards. Reed’s leadership in training and qualifying flight operations personnel ensures that all team members are well-versed in current industry practices, fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.
