Welcome, everyone! Feel free to call me Ray—it’s easier, isn’t it? Currently, I serve as a Lean Manufacturing Consultant at SENAI CIMATEC, where I have the privilege of working on transformative projects that drive operational excellence across diverse industries in Bahia, Brazil. My role involves applying a comprehensive suite of Lean tools and methodologies—such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), 5S, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Yamazumi, KPIs, A3 problem-solving, Ishikawa diagrams, and Autonomous Maintenance—to optimize manufacturing processes and eliminate waste.

At SENAI CIMATEC, I lead initiatives focused on implementing Lean principles tailored to the unique needs of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). This includes designing and executing continuous improvement projects that enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve quality. My approach emphasizes stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that improvements are sustainable and aligned with strategic business goals.

In addition to process optimization, I am deeply involved in developing performance indicators that track key metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. My expertise extends to project management, strategic planning, and stakeholder management—skills that are vital for navigating complex transformation initiatives. Working closely with industry partners, I aim to empower local businesses with practical Lean tools and methodologies, helping them increase competitiveness and operational efficiency.
