Prithviraj Pegu is a dedicated Agricultural Development Officer with the Government of Assam, bringing extensive expertise in implementing and managing a wide array of flagship government schemes aimed at transforming the agricultural landscape of the region. His current role involves overseeing the successful deployment of critical initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY), and the National Farm Management System (NFMS). These schemes are pivotal in providing financial support, crop insurance, irrigation infrastructure, and digital services to farmers, ensuring sustainable agricultural growth across Assam.

A key focus of Prithviraj’s work is the implementation of the Agristack platform, which involves digital crop surveys and the creation of a comprehensive farmers' registry.
