Peter Stroosnyder

Peter Stroosnyder serves as a Principal R&D Product Development Engineer at VICI, where he leverages his extensive expertise in computer hardware, embedded systems, and firmware/software development to drive innovation in critical applications across the defense, aerospace, security, and biotech industries. With a strong focus on the integration and testing of complex analog, digital, and fluidic systems, Peter is at the forefront of advancing technologies that support autonomous mobility ground vehicle robotics and analytical instrumentation.

Currently, Peter is spearheading the research and development of Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) sensors, which are pivotal for trace gas impurities analysis in Ultra High Purity gases. His work on an IMS sensor module designed for use as a Gas Chromatograph detector exemplifies his commitment to enhancing analytical specificity, thereby providing more accurate and reliable results in various applications. Additionally, he is developing a High-Speed Data Acquisition System that integrates seamlessly with these sensors, ensuring efficient data collection and processing capabilities.

Peter's proficiency in Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), EMC compliance, and electrical troubleshooting complements his hands-on experience with SOLIDWORKS and Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). His software design skills further enable him to create robust firmware solutions that enhance system performance and reliability. As he continues to push the boundaries of technology at VICI, Peter remains dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industry, ensuring that VICI remains a leader in advanced analytical instrumentation and sensor technology.
