Pascal Thom currently serves as the 2nd Plant Manager and Head of Compliance for the DSFP (Drug Substance and Final Product) at Bayer, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the manufacturing and compliance operations within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. In this capacity, Pascal leverages his extensive 12-year background in the pharmaceutical industry, combining a strong quality mindset with deep expertise in GMP production, biotechnology, and engineering. His leadership is instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of Bayer’s micronization plant for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), managing a dedicated team of approximately six full-time employees, including both technical and managerial staff.

Pascal’s key projects often focus on optimizing manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining rigorous compliance standards. His expertise in deviation and CAPA management, along with his proficiency in maintaining local QMS, enables him to uphold the highest quality standards while fostering a culture of proactive risk management and operational excellence. He is also deeply involved in site quality management reviews, cleaning validation, and audit and inspection preparations, ensuring Bayer’s manufacturing sites meet global regulatory requirements.
