Mikulas H. currently serves as a Senior DevOps Engineer at DHL IT Services, where he leverages his extensive expertise in operations engineering to enhance the company’s IT infrastructure and streamline processes. With a solid background in information technology and services, Mikulas has been instrumental in driving key projects that focus on optimizing the Data Lake Platform, which is built on a robust MapR (HPE) Hadoop cluster. This platform utilizes Hive, Spark, Drill, Kafka, and Hue ecosystem services to facilitate efficient data storage and processing, enabling DHL to harness the power of big data for improved decision-making and operational efficiency.

In his role, Mikulas is also responsible for the implementation and management of the Data Science Workbench, utilizing JupyterHub and Kubeflow to empower data scientists and analysts with the tools they need to develop and deploy machine learning models effectively.
