💼 Past Experience

I started out at Sober Living Houston as the Operations Coordinator. I oversaw all the day-to-day operations of the house, from booking guests, to catering, to cleaning. It was a very intense and tiring job, but it was also a great opportunity to learn a lot about the industry. I vented my frustrations to everyone in the office, and I quickly learned that my coworkers were there to help.I've since moved on to a bigger role at Take Action Recovery, where I am now the Director of Recovery Services. This job is much harder than the Operations Coordinator, but it’s also been an incredible opportunity to get to know the whole Recovery community in Houston. I’ve learned so much about their struggles and their hopes, and I have a passion for helping these people achieve their mostvere.I’d like to think my experiences at Sober Living and at Take Action Recovery have helped me develop a better understanding of mental healthcare. I’ve seen people come and go, and I’ve learned a great deal about the people who work in the field. I hope my experiences will help me become a better human being, and I think they have.
