Michael Haggerston currently serves as a key leader at HCB Electric in Newcastle, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of electrical installation projects across commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions, Michael has played an instrumental role in managing and executing large-scale projects that enhance community infrastructure and support technological advancement. At HCB Electric, Michael has led the successful installation of several significant projects, including a 178 kW solar system for Lake Macquarie City Council, a 200 kW solar installation at CSIRO Newcastle, and a 20 kW system for Newcastle University. His team’s work on Reoweld’s 70 kW system and a 132 kW BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) system for Sandvik Mining exemplifies his capacity to integrate innovative renewable energy solutions into complex industrial environments. Additionally, Michael has managed the electrical installations for over 500 NSW school projects in partnership with Lendlease, demonstrating his expertise in large-scale, high-stakes project delivery.
