Michael Adelaar

Michael Adelaar currently serves as the Project Success Manager at Blue Bricks, where he plays a pivotal role in driving strategic project initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives. In this capacity, Michael leverages his extensive expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, and Scrum to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects across various domains. His focus on stakeholder engagement, risk management, and process optimization has been instrumental in enhancing project outcomes and client satisfaction.

One of Michael’s key projects involves the implementation of portfolio management within the WISI cluster, a collaborative effort with the Association of Dutch Municipalities. Since October 2022, he has been instrumental in integrating portfolio management practices into the work, income, debt, and integration domains. This initiative aims to improve resource allocation, streamline workflows, and foster data-driven decision-making across municipal services. His ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage change has been critical to the project's success.

Prior to his current role, Michael led the development and business transition of a new service concept for the Cluster Work & Income at the Municipality of Rotterdam. From March 2021 to October 2022, he demonstrated strong leadership in transforming service delivery models, emphasizing customer-centric approaches and operational efficiency. His skills in negotiation, supply chain management, and customer service have consistently contributed to delivering innovative solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
