Metis Ng

Metis Ng currently serves as a General Education Officer at the Ministry of Education, Singapore, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping holistic student development through Physical & Health Education (PHE). In her capacity, Metis oversees the implementation of innovative curriculum strategies that emphasize not only the psychomotor and cognitive domains but also the vital affective domain—fostering emotional regulation, resilience, and core values such as respect, sportsmanship, and care among students. Her expertise extends beyond classroom instruction to include curriculum design, student wellbeing initiatives, and the integration of health promotion programs that support the holistic growth of learners.
