Mei-Lee Lim currently serves as a dedicated Quality Analyst and Progress Leader at Societe des Matieres Premieres Tropicales (SMPT), where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of natural rubber quality across the organization’s supply chain. Her expertise spans comprehensive quality control, analysis, and change management within the tire industry, with a specialized focus on natural rubber (NR) procurement, logistics, and supplier relationships. Mei-Lee’s leadership is instrumental in overseeing the NR quality control team based at the Port of Singapore, where she ensures rigorous adherence to ISO/TS16949 and ISO 9001:2015 standards, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.

In her role, Mei-Lee actively manages supplier and customer relationships, leveraging her deep understanding of chemistry and polymer chemistry to evaluate raw material specifications and drive quality enhancements. Her proficiency in SAP supply chain management systems enables her to streamline procurement processes and optimize inventory control, ensuring seamless supply chain operations. As a certified IATF 16949 Lead Auditor and Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma Management, she leads initiatives to reduce waste, improve process efficiency, and implement robust change management strategies that align with industry best practices.
