Matthew Beacher is a seasoned IT Security Development Manager at Newrez LLC, where he leverages decades of professional IT experience to enhance business operations through strategic automation, comprehensive training, and meticulous documentation. In his current role, Matthew leads a dedicated team responsible for managing access governance platforms, specifically Okta and SailPoint. His expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) has been pivotal in building a process-oriented team that adapts to the evolving needs of the business.
One of Matthew's notable achievements includes identifying a significant point of duplicate costs within the organization, which led to a major project aimed at migrating 6,000 users from a legacy Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) platform. This initiative not only streamlined operations but also enhanced security protocols across the organization. Additionally, Matthew has harnessed the power of PowerShell scripting to automate the onboarding and offboarding processes, significantly reducing manual workloads and improving efficiency.
Matthew’s skill set encompasses a wide range of IT competencies, including troubleshooting, networking, and Active Directory management, which he applies to foster a culture of continuous improvement within his team. His commitment to software documentation ensures that best practices are maintained and shared, further solidifying the team’s operational effectiveness. As he continues to navigate the complexities of IT security, Matthew remains focused on driving innovation and delivering value to Newrez LLC, positioning the organization for future success in an increasingly digital landscape.
