In his current role, Marco provides technical and disciplinary leadership to the dedicated battery R&D team, driving innovation across all facets of battery system development for the Volocopter’s flagship aircraft, Volocity. His expertise spans a broad spectrum of disciplines, including electrical and electronic systems, mechanical integration, materials engineering, thermal management, and structural safety. Under his guidance, the team advances cutting-edge battery technologies, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards for safety, reliability, and performance required for certification and series production.
