Marc Malten

Marc Malten currently serves as the Head of Legal & Compliance for the DACH region at Nokia, where he also holds the position of Lead Counsel for the Market Unit Central and functions as Managing Director. In this multifaceted role, Marc oversees all legal and compliance matters across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, ensuring that Nokia’s operations align with local and international regulatory frameworks. His leadership extends to managing a dedicated team of 3-6 lawyers and contract managers, fostering a proactive legal environment that supports Nokia’s strategic growth initiatives in the rapidly evolving telecommunications and technology sectors.

With extensive experience in multinational corporations such as Siemens, BMW, and BT, Marc brings a comprehensive understanding of commercial law, corporate governance, and data protection, which he leverages to navigate complex legal landscapes. His expertise in contract negotiations, IT law, and compliance enables him to effectively monitor transactions, mitigate legal risks, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
