Luong Du

Luong Du currently serves as the Project Development Manager at OKIA, where he leverages over a decade of diverse experience in engineering and project management across various sectors, including stationary, farm equipment, eyewear, and plastic injection. His extensive background has equipped him with a robust understanding of critical methodologies such as New Product Introduction (NPI), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and the principles of Lean manufacturing, including 5S and Kaizen.

In his role, Luong is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of projects, ensuring that each phase adheres to stringent quality assurance standards. He plays a pivotal role in approving technical drawings and molds, which are essential for maintaining seamless production processes. His hands-on experience with overseas suppliers, particularly in China, has honed his negotiation and communication skills, enabling him to effectively manage supply chain dynamics and foster strong partnerships.

Luong is also dedicated to team development, employing and training supervisors and technicians to enhance operational efficiency. He is adept at planning and executing monthly, quarterly, and yearly strategies that align with the company’s goals, utilizing tools like PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) and flow charts to streamline processes.
