Lisa’s extensive background in clinical and social/behavioral research, combined with her skills in data analysis and laboratory sciences, enables her to effectively translate research findings into actionable policy recommendations. Her work is deeply informed by an intersectional lens on health inequities, shaped by her decade-long involvement on a Community Advisory Board for HIV vaccine research. This unique perspective allows her to advocate for marginalized populations and contribute to the development of inclusive health policies. As a dedicated health researcher and coordinator, Lisa continues to drive impactful initiatives that not only advance scientific knowledge but also foster community resilience and health equity in Los Angeles and beyond.
