Leo Pradier

Leo Pradier, currently completing his final internship (Stage de fin d’études) at LTDS (Laboratoire de Tribologie et Dynamique des Systèmes), brings a robust background in mechanical engineering and advanced research in structural dynamics. As a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Lyon (ENISE) with a specialization in Génie Mécanique, Leo has developed a solid foundation in mechanical design, finite element modeling, and tribological systems. His current role at LTDS involves pioneering innovative solutions in vibration control through the implementation of programmable metamaterials to create vibrational invisibility zones within structural plates. This cutting-edge project leverages his expertise in 3D modeling (using CATIA and PTC Creo), technical drawing, and simulation to optimize the design of these metamaterials for real-world applications.

Leo's work at LTDS is characterized by a multidisciplinary approach, combining theoretical research with practical engineering solutions. His skills in research methodologies and modeling enable him to contribute significantly to the development of vibration mitigation techniques, which are crucial in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and civil engineering.
