About Kate Kranenburg’s Current Company
The Wright Institute

The Wright Institute is a graduate school of psychology that offers superior training for future licensed therapists, counselors, and psychologists. Our Master's Program in counseling psychology is approved to meet requirements for licensure in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) and/or Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC). Our PsyD program in clinical psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association. About the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Program (PsyD) For more than 50 years, the Doctoral program at the Wright Institute has educated and trained clinical psychologists to practice at the highest level of professional competence. In the tradition of the Wright Institute's founder, Nevitt Sanford, the Clinical program is committed to educating "clinicians to society" - professionals who serve the public who address community and societal needs, and who function effectively in a diverse society. About the Master's in Counseling Psychology Program (MA) Graduates of the Wright Institute master’s program provide life-changing therapy and counseling. The two-year curriculum prepares students to function effectively in a wide range of mental health settings with individuals, families, and groups varying widely in age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. The program supports students in thinking critically and self-reflectively, and in exploring the impact of culture and oppression on their clients' lives and the clinical relationship. In addition to class schedules that accommodate working adults and parents, students bond with a consistent group of colleagues as they enter, move through, and graduate from the program together. This cohort model offers an intimate, supportive, and transformative learning experience.
