Juergen Janke currently serves as an Expert Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management (ATFCM) and Assistant Flow Manager at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH, where he plays a pivotal role in optimizing air traffic operations across Germany. In this capacity, Juergen leverages his extensive expertise in Air Traffic Management (ATM), airport Collaborative Decision Making (CDM), and air navigation services to enhance the efficiency and safety of European airspace. His responsibilities include representing DFS in both national and international working groups, such as FABEC, SESAR, and the Network Manager (NM), where he contributes to shaping policies and operational strategies that improve traffic flow and capacity management.

Juergen is actively involved in organizing and facilitating seminars and workshops related to Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM), fostering collaboration among stakeholders in civil aviation, airports, and air navigation service providers. His role as Chairman and Secretary at various meetings underscores his leadership in coordinating complex discussions on capacity constraints, traffic flow optimization, and the implementation of innovative solutions like Airport CDM and intercultural communication strategies.
