Jayson Lua serves as the Operations Lead Technician at Vopak Terminals Singapore, where he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and safe operation of one of Asia’s leading independent tank storage providers for oil and gas products. With a comprehensive understanding of marine operations, Jayson oversees critical activities related to cargo loading and unloading, ensuring compliance with international safety standards and industry regulations. His expertise as a Loading Master and CCR Boardman allows him to coordinate complex terminal operations, optimize throughput, and mitigate operational risks effectively.

In his current role, Jayson is deeply involved in managing confined space access procedures, conducting authorized gas testing, and implementing lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) protocols to maintain a safe working environment. His proficiency in using Distributed Control Systems (DCS) enhances operational efficiency by enabling real-time monitoring and control of terminal processes. Additionally, as a Port Facility Security Officer, he ensures that security measures align with industry standards, safeguarding personnel, assets, and the environment.
