Jacob Nylen

Jacob Nylen currently serves as the Engineering Manager for Process Engineering at Modineer Group, where he leverages his strong analytical skills and technical expertise to drive innovative solutions in manufacturing processes. With a solid foundation in mechanical engineering and programming, Jacob has taken on the pivotal role of leading the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) project, which focuses on autonomously generating performance metrics for ten lasers from two different OEMs. This project not only enhances operational efficiency but also provides critical insights into machine performance, enabling data-driven decision-making.

In his role, Jacob has successfully developed laser parameters that significantly improve cutting speed, part quality, and the lifespan of machine components. His ability to integrate advanced programming languages such as C and Python into his engineering projects has allowed him to optimize processes and enhance productivity. Jacob’s proficiency in tools like MATLAB and Microsoft Excel further supports his analytical approach, enabling him to model complex systems and analyze data effectively.
