Prior to starting HR Connections 30 years ago, Debbie Barr Shapiro spent 12 years as a HR professional with PepsiCo and Texas Instruments. Debbie holds a Masters degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources and Marketing from Michigan State’s Broad School of Management. This experience and education provided her with a clear understanding of the critical success factors with the HR function. This has been a competitive advantage over many other recruiters who do not understand Human Resources today.
