Ho Bryan

Ho Bryan currently serves as a Biotechnology Officer at the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC), where he plays a pivotal role in fostering the development and commercialization of cutting-edge biotechnologies within Hong Kong. In this capacity, he provides expert technical advice on a broad spectrum of biotechnology-related matters, leveraging his extensive background in molecular biology, cell culture, and biochemistry. His responsibilities include vetting proposals for HK ITC funding, ensuring that projects align with strategic innovation goals and meet rigorous scientific standards. With a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Hong Kong and postdoctoral training at A*STAR Singapore, Bryan's expertise spans various disciplines such as PCR, Western blotting, gel electrophoresis, and advanced characterization techniques. His deep understanding of life sciences and biotechnology enables him to evaluate complex research proposals critically, identify potential technical challenges, and recommend feasible solutions.
