Hilde Vreeken

Hilde Vreeken is a dedicated health scientist and epidemiologist with over a decade of experience in advancing quality of care within the physiotherapy sector. Currently serving as a Policy Officer, Guideline Expert, and Project Manager at KNGF Koninklijk Nederlands Genootschap voor Fysiotherapie, she plays a pivotal role in shaping evidence-based clinical practice guidelines that directly impact patient outcomes. Her expertise lies in the development, coordination, and monitoring of multidisciplinary guideline projects, ensuring they are grounded in robust scientific evidence and aligned with national and international standards.

One of her key projects includes the development of a comprehensive guideline on physical therapy for patients with COPD, in collaboration with the Association of Exercise Therapy Cesar and Mensendieck (VvOCM).
