About Helga Egan

Helga A. Egan, now embracing her passion as a Watercolour Artist following her distinguished career in telecommunications, brings a wealth of strategic insight and creative vision to her current pursuits. In her previous role as a senior telecommunications Project Manager and Consultant, Helga successfully designed and implemented industry-leading solutions that integrated emerging and converging technologies such as VoIP, SIP Trunking, and Wireless Technologies. Her expertise in software project management, combined with her proficiency in tools like MS Project, Visio, and the MS Office Suite, enabled her to lead complex initiatives focused on delivering secure, resilient, and scalable telecommunications infrastructure for a diverse client base.

Transitioning from her corporate career, Helga now channels her meticulous attention to detail and innovative problem-solving skills into her watercolour art. Her experience with unified communications and telecommunications has honed her ability to observe subtle nuances and translate them into vibrant, expressive works of art. Her current projects include developing a series of watercolour landscapes inspired by her travels and meditative reflections, which she shares through exhibitions and online platforms. Helga’s background in managing large-scale projects and her expertise in converging technologies have uniquely equipped her to approach her artistic endeavors with discipline, patience, and a keen eye for composition.

While she enjoys the peaceful meditative pleasure of watercolour painting, Helga continues to draw upon her industry knowledge and skills—such as her understanding of visual storytelling and precision—to create compelling art that resonates with viewers. Her journey from telecommunications to fine art exemplifies her lifelong commitment to innovation, creativity, and continuous learning.
