Haydee Sam currently serves as the Head of Accounting for G D S’s West Coast operations, where she plays a pivotal role in managing the financial health of a dynamic national door company generating approximately $50 million annually. In this capacity, Haydee oversees all aspects of full-cycle accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple financial functions. Her responsibilities include supervising accounts payable processes—adding new vendors, verifying W9s and tax-exempt certificates, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely invoice processing through meticulous tracking and verification. She also prepares and reviews checks, schedules online bill-pay, and automates payments to streamline cash flow management.

With her extensive background in auditing, financial reporting, and budgeting, Haydee brings a strategic approach to her role, leveraging her expertise in Microsoft Excel and Access to analyze financial data and generate insightful reports. Her leadership extends beyond routine accounting tasks; she actively collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiencies and implement best practices in financial management.
