George Slagle

George Slagle, now retired from the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) where he served as the Director of the Rotary Wing Sector, brings a wealth of expertise in aerospace program management, military procurement, and systems acquisition. In his role, George was the principal advisor to the Military Commander, specifically providing strategic guidance on complex rotary wing platforms such as the AH-64 Apache, CH-47 Chinook, and UH-60 Black Hawk, as well as advanced fighter programs like the F-35, F-22, and F-16. His deep understanding of ACAT I-IV acquisition processes, foreign military sales, and joint NATO programs positioned him as a key leader in managing weapon systems valued at over $51 billion, ensuring operational readiness, cost efficiency, and compliance with defense standards.
