Frederic Bussereau brings over two decades of extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of delivering excellence in audit, risk management, and client service across both France and the UK. Currently serving as the Internal Audit Director at Abeille Assurances since October 2021, Frederic plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's internal control environment following the strategic acquisition of Aviva France by Aéma. In this capacity, he leads a diverse team of 30 professionals spanning insurance, banking, and asset management sectors, ensuring robust compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. His leadership focuses on enhancing audit methodologies, strengthening risk mitigation strategies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

His prior role as Director of Audit for Europe and Asia further underscores his international perspective, where he managed audit operations across multiple jurisdictions including France, Italy, Ireland, Turkey, Poland, Lithuania, Singapore, and India. This experience honed his skills in cross-border financial regulation, due diligence, and project finance, enabling him to navigate complex multinational environments effectively.
