Fengmin Liu currently serves as a Principal Research Engineer and Senior Industry Development Manager at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), where he leverages over two decades of expertise in surface technology to drive innovative solutions for industry challenges. His role involves spearheading the development of environmentally friendly surface treatment processes, including advanced electroless and electrolytic plating techniques such as Ni, Cu, Cr, Ag, Sn, Au, Rh, and their alloys on diverse substrates like plastics, magnesium alloys, zinc die-cast, and aluminum alloys.
