Erwin Kosmann

Erwin Kosmann currently serves as the Configuration Manager at Schaeffler, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the platform development of LTE modems. With over 25 years of experience in software development and more than 15 years dedicated to configuration management in large-scale international projects, Erwin brings a wealth of expertise to his current role. His responsibilities encompass planning, implementing, and controlling configuration management (CM) processes and tools, ensuring seamless build management, release management, incident handling, and change management. As the site-responsible Configuration Manager, he is instrumental in aligning global standards with local requirements, fostering efficient workflows, and maintaining high-quality deliverables.

At Schaeffler, Erwin has successfully led initiatives to optimize CM workflows by integrating industry best practices such as CMMi and Agile methodologies.
