Doh Finlay

Doh Finlay currently serves as an Internal Auditor at the Caisse Autonome d’Amortissement du Cameroun, where he leverages over a decade of extensive experience in financial oversight, strategic planning, and public sector management. In this role, Doh is responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of the organization’s financial position, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and evaluating operational efficiency across various departments. His expertise in internal controls and risk management allows him to identify vulnerabilities and recommend robust mitigation strategies, thereby safeguarding the organization’s assets and enhancing financial integrity.

Prior to this, Doh held significant leadership positions within the Cameroonian government, including Director of Public Investment Budget and Director of Economic Planning at the Ministry of Economic Planning. His tenure in these roles was marked by the successful formulation and implementation of five-year development plans and strategic initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable economic growth. His deep understanding of financial reporting, public finance management, and program management has been instrumental in aligning government projects with national development objectives.

Additionally, Doh’s experience as a Strategic Planning instructor at the Pan-African Institute for Development underscores his commitment to capacity building and knowledge transfer in economic and financial disciplines. His skills in financial analysis, internal controls, and public speaking enable him to communicate complex audit findings effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
