Die Wahl der Revier-Stadt geschah dabei nicht zufällig, denn die Gründer wollen insbesondere das Potenzial der Startup-Szene im Ruhrgebiet stärken und einen Gegenpol zu den geläufigen Startup-Metropolen wie Berlin, Hamburg oder München bilden.
