Corina Colon

Corina Colon currently serves as a dedicated Special Olympics Coach at the City of La Crosse Special Recreation department, where she leverages her extensive background in applied behavior analysis and her passion for inclusive recreation to make a meaningful impact. In her role, Corina coaches a diverse range of sports—including swimming, soccer, track, basketball, softball, flag football, bocce ball, and bowling—guiding athletes of varying abilities and ages through tailored practices that focus on both skill development and personal empowerment. Her expertise in individualized goal setting and adaptive coaching strategies ensures that each athlete receives the support they need to thrive, fostering a sense of achievement and confidence within the community.
