World Meat Congress

The International Meat Secretariat (IMS) and the National Meat Institute of Uruguay (INAC) have proposed to discuss a new global agenda of the sector in the 21st. World Meat Congress. This agenda will deal with the major topics affecting the global meat sector under a novel format. Each topic will be presented using audiovisual technology with a summary of its current status and its main dilemmas and challenges and then posing three questions to be addressed by various experts from different perspectives. Discussion and debate among experts will be the heart of the congress together with the participation of the audience in real-time. The reasons for the different perspectives and areas of agreement and disagreement will be identified at the end. The greatest challenge of the new global agenda is to organize the “many voices” to reach “one melody”. Only then will we meet the challenges facing the global meat sector in these times of vertigo and opportunities galore. Leave your mark here.
