Woman's Trust

Woman’s Trust is a specialist mental health charity that provides confidential, free.and tailored individual counselling and group therapy for women who have experienced domestic abuse. Since 1996 we have helped over 15,000 women in their recovery from domestic abuse; delivered more than 40,000 counselling sessions; and provided the equivalent of over £4.5 million in free mental health care. Established in 1996 by a group of survivors, Woman’s Trust was formed by a group of domestic abuse survivors, counsellors and women to address the absence of specialist mental health services available to this client group. Through our trained and qualified staff, we offer a range of confidential, specialist services designed specifically to support women who have experienced domestic abuse: person-centred counselling, self-development workshops and peer support groups.
