About Vancouver TheatreSports
Since its founding in 1980, Vancouver TheatreSports™ League (VTSL) has grown to become a well-respected international leader in the improv art form, entertaining more than 60,000 people per year through 11 shows a week, 52 weeks a year at its own theatre, The Improv Centre. VTSL owns and operates Improv for Business, a corporate training division with a diverse portfolio of blue-chip clients. We also offer Improv to Go Event Services and Facility Rentals.
Corporate Training
Vancouver TheatreSports has been helping build more productive, creative and cohesive organizations. Our programs will help your team build trust, communication, spontaneity, and creativity, while accepting and supporting the ideas of others. Event Services
Our Improv to Go Event Services will bring VTSL’s brand of improv comedy to your next private party, corporate event or convention. Services include customized improv shows, roving characters or greeters for your themed events, providing emcees, publicity stunts, or producing award shows.

Facility Rentals
The Improv Centre, located on Granville Island, is available to rent for your next staged presentation, reception, meeting, social event or fundraiser. Our modern theatre features a raised stage with full sound, lighting and projection capabilities. An intimate space, the theatre seats up to 186 people and offers a mixture of traditional theatre seating, banquettes and cabaret-style tables with chairs. The Improv Centre also has fully-licensed Bar & Lounge.
