United Water Supply Company of Georgia, LLC, was established in 2010. The State owns 100 percent of its shares, while Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure is its Partner. The Company provides water and wastewater services across Georgia for urban-type settlements except for cities of Tbilisi, Rustavi, Mtskheta, Gardabani Muncipality, and Adjara Autonomous Republic. The Company’s organization comprises Head Office in Tbilisi, 8 Regional Branches, and 53 Service Centers. The direct activities of the Company are as follows: abstraction, treatment and supply of water to customers; design, construction, operation and maintenance of water/wastewater networks. The Company serves more than 300.000 domestic and up to 19.000 non-domestic customers. The objective of the Company is to supply population with 24-h, quality, continuous potable water; in addition, to normalize water and sewage systems in cities and settlements under its coverage; and to construct wastewater treatment plants of international standards to reduce adverse impact on environment
