The Food at The Iberian Pig
We are using Spain as an inspiration to create a new and unique dining experience for our guests. The menu is our vision of modern and eclectic cuisine featuring the Catalan region of Spain. We focus on traditional cured meats, cheeses, tapas dishes, salads, cocas (flatbreads), and main plates. The Iberico ham along with the other meats and cheeses will be sliced in view of the customers and people walking by the restaurant in the Decatur Square. All dishes are hand crafted with a strong disposition towards local and organic ingredients.
MEANING OF THE NAME
The Black-footed Iberian Pigs that roam Spain create some of the most sought after cured meat in the world, Jamon Iberico. Only recently imported into the United States, we are one of the select few restaurants in the country that serves the acorn fed Iberico ham from Spain. To preserve the integrity of Jamon Iberico, we slice the ham in view of our guests on a imported mechanical proscuitto slicer from Italy. Served with toasted ciabatta and espresso aioli, this item is truly a signature of the restaurant.
