About The Garden Club of Larchmont
The Garden Club of Larchmont is a community of gardening enthusiasts sharing tips & advice on gardening, landscaping, garden planning, nature study and conservation of our natural resources. We come together and work to better our community through philanthropic, educational and civic activities for the beautification and betterment of our community. From container and rain gardening to growing vegetables, landscaping with annuals or perennials and composting, we get our hands dirty in just about anything! Many of our members are new to gardening, but many are also "seasoned gardeners" who know their stuff!
Our 70+ membership meets monthly (September - June) for lectures, field trips and community outreach. Our impact on Larchmont and its surrounding communities dates back to 1913, when the garden club was initially founded. We will be celebrating our centennial year beginning in the Fall of 2012, and invite you to join us in celebration.
