The Argentine Chamber of Biotechnology (Cámara Argentina de Biotecnología) was founded with the aim to promote public-private collaboration policy in this field and to encourage the development of a sound Biotechnology sector in Argentina.
The Chamber is made up of companies from a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, animal and plant health, diagnosis, agricultural and farming, forestry, and biofuels.
It has a truly integrated vision, spanning from R&D and production, to the commercialization and export of high value-added biotechnology products.
The Chamber seeks to increase the country’s leading role in biotechnology at regional level, encouraging coordination of valuable joint efforts across stakeholders from a wide range of sectors with the aim to strengthen Argentina as a biotechnology player.
