St. Paul's Monastery

We, the Sisters of St. Paul’s Monastery are a community who live Gospel values as expressed in the Rule of St. Benedict. Through our monastic life and wise stewardship, we nurture a contemplative presence in service of Church and society. As St. Benedict says: “All guests who present themselves are to be welcomed as Christ.” (RB53) - Silence: We are committed to listening to God through the gift of a quiet internal spirit nurtured by the monastic environment. - Stewardship: We are committed to a reverence of all creation and the responsible use of our human gifts and goods. - Generativity: We are committed to fostering creativity, learning, and leadership within the outside of our monastic community. - Social Responsibility: We are committed to learn about communities outside our monastery and to respond in the spirit of St. Benedict as we strive to actively carry out the Social Teachings of the Church.
