After 15 years of experience in the managed services business, Silverskills aims to expand into Engineering Services through Silverskills Engineering Services, a new initiative based in the UK. Our mission is to empower asset intensive organisations by providing high quality, bespoke outsourcing products and managed services that reduce costs, mitigate risks, improve operational performance and therefore extract maximum whole life value from assets they own or manage. The focus of our new initiative uses Building Information Modelling (BIM) as a platform to provide customised solutions to a wide range of organisations in the infrastructure sectors. Our focus goes beyond mainstream BIM modelling by providing integrated asset management products and decision support systems tailored to the specific needs of the client. 1. Managed Services We provide bespoke, cost effective services that meet the individual needs of our clients. Bringing together the right people with the right skills, we develop and maintain the entire BIM management process, allowing our clients to concentrate on their core activities and operations. 2. Advisory: Audit | Assurance | OIR / AIR / EIR | Strategy development We provide a business-wide ‘BIM Maturity Audit’ (against the UK BIM Level 2 mandate, April'16) to establish gaps in organisational management for BIM – both project and business-wide asset information management and BIM-specific change management activities. 3. Training We offer a customised training for professionals within the Rail, Construction, Building and Infrastructure sectors. Our training aims at providing an understanding of the strategic framework that encompasses BIM and the whole-life value that can be extracted through its implementation. The training provides a focused end-to-end approach to BIM implementation – from Organisational Strategy to providing an implementation plan.
