SHARP Literacy enhances future life success by energizing urban children, motivating them to identify themselves as confident, capable scholars and lifelong learners by inspiring engagement in reading, writing and research through hands-on interaction and visual arts. SHARP provides students in inner-city classrooms with teacher training, teacher and student workbooks, in-classroom presentations in the fall and spring, curriculum-based art tours, writing challenge projects and end-of-the-year celebrations.
