reStart is an interfaith ministry committed to providing shelter and supportive services to homeless men, women, youth, and families, with the goal of helping them become independent and self sufficient, and ending homelessness in our community. reStart is based in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. We provide more than 95,000 nights of emergency and transitional shelter to more than 16,000 homeless guest every year. We also provide permanent housing opportunities, a day-drop in center - the Homeless Services Center, and an array of services including case management, access to mainstream health benefits, mental health services, life skills classes, housing assistance, job training, HIV/AIDS care and chemical dependency support groups.
