PCL is a community of people devoted to breaking the cycle of poverty.
People for Care & Learning is a non-profit 501c3 humanitarian organization headquartered in the Cleveland, TN. Since 2002 PCL has been moving into neighborhoods throughout Southeast Asia – inspiring hope, living justice and giving the poor a working chance. We approach communities in need with a holistic, systematic approach to eradicating the cycle of poverty.
We are in the middle of our greatest project, Build A City, where we are rebuilding an entire city for 1,000+ families living amidst extreme poverty outside of Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh. We are also committed to local initiatives, as we believe we should have a hand in helping the community in which we live. We serve as a host location for Chick-fil-A Leadercast, a conference focused on creating leaders in our community. We have also focused on helping enhance Cleveland’s beautiful Greenway; We've built a children's playground and two brand new restrooms are in our plans for the future.
