Muscatine Power & Water (MP&W) is a not-for-profit utility serving approximately 13,000 customers. Electricity, water, gigabit internet, TV and phone- we are the backbone for today’s home, business and enterprise organization.With the Water Utility founded in 1900, the Electric Utility in 1922, and the Telecommunications Utility in 1996, MP&W exists because the citizens of Muscatine voted that their utility services be delivered by a local entity that puts community needs first.Our nearly 265 employees are an integral part of the community and most live, play and volunteer within the communities we serve.
