Montessori School of Pensacola

The Montessori School of Pensacola (MSP) is a private school that has been offering quality education in the Pensacola community since 1977. We offer a safe and caring environment for children ages 18 months through 8th grade, as well as Extended Care and Summer programs. MSP is the only accredited Montessori school in Northwest Florida. We provide children with a wide range of meaningful experiences that empower them to explore their world. We help children gradually expand their knowledge and skills and watch them grow into confident, self-directed students of life. Children who progress through this program excel in academic competence and mastery of essential life skills. The curriculum follows the Montessori philosophy of education based on the studies of Dr. Maria Montessori, which is: * A century-old educational method used worldwide * Education based on developmental stages * Hands-on materials in an active learning environment * Multi-aged classrooms that foster independence, respect, critical thinking, and the joy of learning In addition to a challenging academic program, MSP offers accessible administration and teachers, low student-teacher ratio, Spanish instruction starting at 18 months, and an on campus tennis court facility with tennis instruction.
