Some Fun Facts I support forward-thinking schools in helping their high school students and staff develop social-emotional learning skills, strengthen relationships and increase effective communication so they can find their voice and use their strengths in a way that fulfills their purpose in life. ► I’ve served as a Speaker, Trainer & Education Consultant with FranklinCovey. ► I’ve impacted 800+ teachers and 11,000+ students through paid speeches and training workshops. ► I’m a dedicated learner, love building meaningful connections and enjoy creating win-win partnerships. Some Real Facts I’ve turned my mess into an inspirational message that I am using to fulfill my purpose, impact lives and help students and teachers be inspired to lead themselves and others. ► I was bullied for 8 years for repeating kindergarten and lacked confidence in my grades the majority of my academic career. ► After getting a 1.87 GPA in my first semester of college, I tried to drop out but my parents wouldn’t let me give up. ► I had to stop playing college basketball after an injury and went on a 3 week smoking and drinking binge to mask my depression…all while skipping class which set me back academically. ► After an eye-opening conversation with my mom and reading two personal development books, I shifted my focus from being a victim to focusing on things I could control, such as developing valuable skills like public speaking and building meaningful relationships. ► I surrounded myself around positive role models and successful mentors that helped me see my strengths and potential. I am committed to your staff and students having a sense of purpose, utilizing their voice, and using their gifts to serve others.
